Some conversations I had.
This post will consist mainly of a compilation of a few confersations I had this week:
First, why I think coming out is so important.
PatchCR: i know this is probably too early to be asking this but do you think that her coming out will or has changed your paradigm?
Marlena Mitrik: idk too early...it helps knowing that shes my friend and she knows that i'm a bit uncomfortable with everything so that i won't have to hear any gory details
PatchCR: well I think you'll find that you feel smarter in a couple of weeks. maybe you could call it more worldly. but my experience is that over time you'll grow into a more comfortable place, you may even find yourself defending the gay and lesbian community from very ignorante biggots from time to time.
PatchCR: there's soemthing different about having your close friend come out.
PatchCR: something absolutely terrifying about the prospect of coming out to a friend.
PatchCR: and something very powerful about having your best friend come out to you.
Next we have a conversation talking about the amazingness of the Green Day concert I went to.
Jeremy McCullough: Anything interesting happen with you lately?See wasn't that fun? Haha, it was easy too. I just have to cut, paste, and proofread. Get used to these types of posts, they should be coming more often.
PatchCR: Green Day was Last night
PatchCR: amazing
Jeremy McCullough: Cool, did you enjoy it?
PatchCR: OMFG, there is very little I can say to explain the experience
Jeremy McCullough: Haha, that's good. Any highlights?
PatchCR: um.. lol
PatchCR: lots
PatchCR: they started off with a pink bunny dancing drunk on stage
PatchCR: so random but so cool
Jeremy McCullough: lol
PatchCR: and then they played american idiot
PatchCR: he pulled a kid out of the crowd to spray the crowd with a water gun
Jeremy McCullough: Haha, cool
PatchCR: then they also got kids who can play instruments to play them on stage
PatchCR: it was awesome
PatchCR: Billy Joe was like, "do you swear you can play? Swear to god? hey, do you know him? Can he play the drums? okay, Get up here"
PatchCR: and it worked pretty well
PatchCR: drums, a bass, and a guitar
Jeremy McCullough: Haha
PatchCR: the guitar player got kissed on the lips by Billy Joe, and he got to keep the guitar. "Oh and you can keep the guitar. so you can practice. Cuz you SUCK"
Jeremy McCullough: lol
PatchCR: then Billy did some crazy stuff with his guitar
PatchCR: behind his head, in front
PatchCR: he really can play, its cool
PatchCR: haha, they did some neat crowd tricks
PatchCR: the wave, screaming wars
PatchCR: haha... and he mooned us
PatchCR: it was funny
PatchCR: lots of fire and bangs
PatchCR: GREAT music
PatchCR: they did a cover of "Shout", you know "a little bit softer now"
Jeremy McCullough: Yep, I know that one
Jeremy McCullough: Jeremy hasn't been to a concert in awhile. Never with friends, though. Haha, I need to go more places with friends! Ahh...but my job.
PatchCR: they were on the floor for like 3 minutes until "little bit louder now"
PatchCR: it was funny
PatchCR: most of the other band members had weird costums on like a pencil through the cranium, or a bra, or a pink hat, or king's cloak during that song.
Jeremy McCullough: lol
Jeremy McCullough: Sounds very interesting, haha
PatchCR: quite
PatchCR: haha, he put his hands down his pants and kina "touched" himself for a couple minutes.... i can't remember why tho, some odd reason having to do a crowd pleaser ;-)
Jeremy McCullough: lol
PatchCR: haha, as he was introducing the band members he made a big hoopla of it
PatchCR: and then he introduced himself and "George W Bush"
PatchCR: the crowd bood
PatchCR: and so he said "I'm just kidding, I'm a&&hole"
PatchCR: there were tons and tons of 10-15 year olds there
PatchCR: running around everywhere
Jeremy McCullough: My...
Jeremy McCullough: Little kids ruin anything.
PatchCR: nah, it was funny
Jeremy McCullough: Haha
PatchCR: the kid he pulled onto the stage for the water guns was only 12 or so
PatchCR: and he got to lead the crowd in a sway, it was neat,
Jeremy McCullough: lol

Your IMs were interesting, but my responses were just plain boring, in my opinion. :P
...I guess I'll just have to have a more interesting conversation, then, huh?
